About
Dr. Somia Driche graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Algiers 1 in 2016. She obtained her specialization diploma in Hematology from the Pierre Marie Curie Cancer Center, Department of Hematology and Bone Marrow Transplantation, in Algiers, in 2021. Dr. Somia Driche has been the senior registrar in Hematology Department at Al-Hayat National Hospital since 2024.
Services
- The Hematology Department is dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of benign blood disorders, as well as the diagnosis of malignant hematologic diseases, including the following:
- Various types of anemia:
- ٠Iron deficiency anemia
- ٠Anemia due to folic acid or vitamin B12 deficiency
- ٠Chronic anemia associated with chronic diseases
- Disorders of white blood cells and platelets
- Coagulation and bleeding disorders
- Hemolytic and autoimmune anemia
- Polycythemia (increased red blood cell count)
- Diagnosis of malignant hematologic diseases, including:
- ٠Leukemia (acute and chronic types)
- ٠Lymphoma (Hodgkin and non-Hodgkin types)
- ٠Multiple myeloma
- ٠Bone marrow disorders (such as marrow failure or fibrosis)
